Your first week

A storyboard of the first seven days on a new svVe farm. Same opening as the base game, but with far more people to meet and places to go.

Day one

  1. Illustration: a farmer waits by the window beside a big hourglass while a cat sleeps.

    Be patient at the start

Creating the farm takes a while with this many mods. Keep the game window focused; alt-tabbing can crash it.

  2. A large farm with barns, coops, fields and an orchard.

    Your farm is bigger

The collection ships one large farm map with secrets of its own. Clear a little each day; there's no rush.

  3. The Introductions quest in the journal reading 2 of 74 people greeted.

    Introductions: 74 people

The classic "meet everyone" quest counts all the new villagers. Don't try to finish it this week.

  4. Illustration: a new villager drinks tea at home next to moving boxes.

    New villagers stay home today

On the first day modded villagers don't leave their houses. Their schedules start the next morning. That's normal.

  5. World Navigator menu with NPCs, Quests, Search, Go home and Events buttons.

    Lost? Press N

World Navigator gives turn-by-turn directions to any person, place or quest drop-off.

  6. Illustration: a farm mailbox with its flag up and a leather handbook inside.

    Check the mailbox

Sword & Sorcery mails you a Player's Handbook. It explains its skills, items and events in-game.

Days two to seven

  1. Illustration of a cable car climbing a ridge. Not the in-game view of Ridgeside.

    Ride up to Ridgeside

Take the stairs northeast of the bus stop and hop in the cable car. A whole village waits at the top.

  2. Illustration of a seaside village street. Not the in-game view of East Scarp.

    Walk over to East Scarp

The seaside suburb sits right next to Pelican Town, with its own community board and special orders.

  3. Lookup Anything showing details for a villager.

    Point and press F1

Lookup Anything shows birthdays, gift tastes, crop timers and more for whatever's under your cursor.

  4. A farmer holding a sunflower out to a villager, with a heart bubble.

See the reaction before you gift

Hold a gift near someone and a bubble predicts love, like, neutral, dislike or hate.

  5. Illustration: a farmer arrives from the bus stop at an old overgrown community hall on a sunny spring morning.

    The Community Center scene

Enter town from the bus stop, Spring 5+, 8 am to 1 pm, sunny, not a festival. In co-op only the host can trigger it.

  6. A grid of Eli's portraits showing different expressions.

    Watch for Eli & Dylan

Eli turns up in Pelican Town after the Wizard's first event; Dylan hangs around East Scarp's beach.

Tune it to taste

Everything is pre-configured, but every mod can be adjusted in Mod Options.

Coming up later

  1. Leilani with her husband Pika and son Keahi.

    Summer: meet Leilani

Visit the bus stop between 6 am and 6 pm on one of the first five days of Summer to see her arrive.

  2. Solarium at the Spa Revisited art with Evelyn and other villagers.

A solarium on the spa roof

An unlock event opens the spa's rooftop greenhouse for year-round crops.

  3. Ginger Island farm with buildings placed on it.

    Ginger Island grows too

Build on the island farm, and explore 15 extra island locations once you get there.
